Our New Website is Live!

A new look and new features to better serve our community.

If you are reading this blog, you are visiting our brand new Park Memorial website that launched earlier this week. One of the new features that we are so proud of is this blog; we hope that you will find writings here that offer education, information, comfort, and support. We will be sharing relevant blogs from other experts and organizations, and we are even inviting our community to submit guest blog posts

This website has been a ‘labour of love’ for our team. It has been in development for over two years, its completion often delayed because of the pandemic and its demands on our organization. This is the first time that we have had website that is copyrightable, as all pieces (minus guest blogs which are transparently linked and marked as such) have been written internally by our team.

We are so proud of our entire team who has had a thumbprint on this new site, especially our small team of graphic designers and writers who have driven the design, concept, flow, and content. Our hats are off to their creativity and hard work.

Take a few moments to explore; we invite you to provide your comments and feedback via our comments section on this blog post. See something that resonates? Let us know! Have a topic or subject that you would like to see included in our blog or elsewhere on our website? Let us know!

Thank you for being part of this milestone with us…

Last night marked the final gathering of our Men’s Grief Support program for the season*— and what a meaningful close it was. Over the past several months, this group has grown not only in numbers, but in connection, trust, and true community. To celebrate that growth, we decided to do something special: we hosted a di

My Dearest Daughter, as I write this letter, I can already feel the weight of my absence pressing upon you. There is so much I wish I could have told you, so many moments I wish I could have shared with you. But now, as you face the daunting task of being my Executor, I realize how much I have failed to prepare you for what lies ahead.

As you step into this role, it is understandable to feel overwhelmed by the myriad of tasks and decisions that lie ahead. While the process can be complex and time-consuming, it is essential to approach it with warmth, empathy, and unwavering professionalism.
