If a death should occur while away from home, bringing a loved one back home can be a complicated and expensive process. The Guaranteed Travel Assurance Plan covers many of the difficult details and expenses for you.

Coverage for Members* if death occurs more than 100 km away from their principal residence - member must reside in Canada.

Protection while travelling anywhere in the world, even if death occurs outside of home province or even abroad.

Arranges for PreparationList Item 3
Embalming or cremation and transportation of the deceased to Park Memorial Funeral Home, as designated on the enrollment form.

Designated Travel CompanionList Item 1
Arranges and pays for a travel companion to accompany the deceased home.
If the deceased is travelling alone, plan arranges and pays for one next of kin to travel to place of death to accompany deceased home.

Payment and Flexibility

EnrolmentList Item 1
nt at any age providing lifetime coverage for a one-time fee of $525 CDN ($500 + GST $25).

May be paid as a single payment (cheque, VISA or MasterCard) payable to Funeral Plans-Canada.

30-Day Free Look Period
Membership may be cancelled within 30 days of enrollment for a full refund.

Expenses Not Covered
Please note that all expenses related to the funeral of the deceased are not covered by this policy.

Support and Claims
Coverage is provided at time of need by calling 1 800 656 5056 with member number.
*Member must reside in Canada. Coverage commences when the Bereavement Establishment receives the completed form and payment.
Legal residence is defined as the place of residence for 180 or more days in the twelve months preceding the date of death.
All services must be arranged by GTAP. No claims for reimbursement will be accepted.
