One of the greatest gifts that you can give your family is to preplan your funeral. Prearranging takes the guesswork and often family disagreements, out of funeral planning.
You know that your wishes will be carried out and your loved ones will know exactly how to honour you.
Park Memorial offers a range of burial service choices. These can include simple, immediate burials, graveside services guided by a celebrant or clergy, or a traditional or contemporary funeral service followed by burial.
Our team will guide you through the process of selecting the burial service that best honours your loved one.
Park Memorial offers a variety of options for families choosing cremation. These include simple, immediate cremation, cremation prior to a memorial service, or cremation following a funeral service.
Graveside or scattering services are also options dependent on your choice of final disposition of your loved one's cremated remains.
Whether you are planning a traditional funeral, viewing, visitation, a contemporary service, or a celebration of life, we want to help you make the right decisions for you and the family and friends of your loved one.
Your funeral directors will guide you through each step of the process to plan a personalized and meaningful life tribute for your loved one. Park Memorial is proud to serve families of all faiths and cultures. Our funeral directors are trained to plan ceremonies inclusive of all ethnic and religious customs and traditions.
A highly respected Edmonton funeral home with branches serving northern Alberta, Park Memorial gives bereaved families the highest level of professional, empathetic service.
Park Memorial offers assistance and planning in organizing a reception in our beautiful Edmonton funeral home facility or at the location of your choice. We offer comprehensive catering options that include buffet or individual boxed lunches.
When a death occurs away from home, our funeral professionals will help arrange the transport of your loved one’s body or cremated remains. Some families choose to transport their loved one back to their homeland for final disposition.
Our team has arranged repatriation of deceased loved ones to countries and continents all over the globe. Each country has its own set of required laws and documents, and our funeral professionals are proficient in helping families with all steps in this process.
Park Memorial believes that our service to families and to our grieving community needs to continue beyond the funeral service.
We provide both assistance with the many documents and forms that must be filled out when settling an estate, as well as grief support programs. We also offer small group monthly grief support events, as well as annual / biennial large group events that are accessible by the entire community.

Our Edmonton facility is our flagship and our largest funeral home. Centrally located, the current funeral home was built in 1963 surrounding the site of the original 1941 funeral home. We continue to update and renovate our facilities to keep them contemporary and welcoming to the families we serve. We feature a large, complimentary parking lot; we are accessible and service dog friendly. With our large chapel, on-site crematorium and reception centre, we can provide a full-service funeral all in one location. The capacity of our facility also allows multiple families to be served at one time, decreasing wait time for arrangements, visitations and funerals.
"Park Memorial was amazing. These people have one of the hardest jobs on the planet. Constantly surrounded by sad people, yet they maintain a loving, caring and respectful demeanour. The level of care and compassion I received from everyone is very much appreciated and made a horribly traumatizing event seamless and as painless as possible. Bless you all and all your hard work. Thank you again."

"I cannot say enough about the care and service your Park Memorial Family provides to your clients. I had a very sudden unexpected death of my sister in an Edmonton Hospital a few weeks ago. We encountered several of your staff while making arrangements, and your staff is truly a Family who work together to provide clients with outstanding service during a very difficult, trying time. Your staff made an unbearable situation bearable. Your kindness will not be forgotten."

"Park Memorial Funeral Home provides the best service that I can ask for on such a terrible day of losing my grandma and under the strict social restriction due to Covid19. Thank you Park Memorial Funeral Home and all the staff for helping us."

Our Edmonton Reception Centre can accommodate over 100 people and provides a comfortable and convenient setting for a time of fellowship, light refreshments, and the sharing of memories after the funeral service. We are able to cater to your guests with a menu served by our friendly and qualified host staff, respecting your cultural and personal traditions. Two 50" flat screen monitors and a sound system allows Park Memorial to show a video tribute during a luncheon, or to seat overflow guests from the chapel while televising the service taking place. A separate estate room allows for some privacy for families or to allow for a visitation to take place while utilizing the reception area.
Sit in the comfort and tradition of a complete, carefully designed and beautifully ornamented chapel that can accommodate over 300 people. Our chapel feels both traditional as well as modern, and we are able to digitally stream our funerals live over the internet and broadcast memorial videos on our internal screens. Attached to the chapel is our spacious and comfortable family room that gives your family a space to gather prior to the service, or to take a private moment as needed.
Our five visitation rooms have been tastefully decorated to ensure comfort and serenity at the time of visitations and viewings. Designed to be flexible in their use, our visitation rooms can accommodate everything from a traditional visitation, to a more contemporary memorial visitation, to a small or private family service.
Offering one of Edmonton's few on-site crematoriums at our flagship location means that once your loved one has been received into our care, you have the comfort of knowing that they do not have to be transported to a different location for cremation.
