Condolence From: Fiona
Condolence: Christine was always so encouraging whether when we were classmates, or when she was the fun Canada Day volunteer or when we needed another player on our ball hockey team. We even crossed paths at the Highland Festival and visited like we see eachother everyday! So genuine and easy to be with. She was truly the best and no doubt will be missed by so many people and organizations.

Condolence: Chris was such a fabulous neighbour and friend to us. We have been so blessed to live next door to her and will deeply miss our chats, across the fence. Amelia and Jack will often ask to see Miss Chris. Wishing the Zurburg family, healing and peace during such a difficult time.

Condolence From: Barb
Condolence: So very sorry for the loss of this beautiful soul. Christine and I crossed paths many times over the past 15 years, first at fundraising events & later as volunteers at the Cross. She always had a beautiful smile and a wonderful attitude to share with everyone around her. She will be missed!

Condolence From: Doug
Condolence: Had the benefit of Christine on the curling team, the between shot banter, her interaction with opposition, next sheet teams were what made the games enjoyable, she was competitive but also quick to help new curlers gain confidence. It was also noted no episode of "Survivor" was ever missed. Her volunteering time with local hockey, Sherwood Park events, Cross clinic, Briar curling, SCARS, Oakley etc. was all part of her life. She will be greatly missed, but her spirit of giving will stay with those she met.
Condolences to Zurburg family & friends...

Condolence From: Colleen
Condolence: I went to school with Christine from grade 1-12. She was always kind and funny, never a mean word about anyone. Sometimes we would meet up and walk to school together. She touched so many people and we are better for knowing her. You will be missed, Christine.

Condolence: I first met Christine while taking treatment at the Cross Cancer. She was a volunteer and a cancer warrior! I later met her and Oakley at the off-leash dog park. We often walked together while I was recovering. Christine and Oakley always had the best energy, and it gave me so much hope! She gave this same hope to countless others too and touched many hearts. Christine gave so much of herself even through her own health struggles. My heart goes out to her family and friends. What a tremendous loss.
