Obituary for Mario De Rosa

Mario De Rosa
It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Mario De Rosa on December 29, 2020, at the age of 80.
Mario courageously immigrated to Canada in 1964 from Aiello, Italy. Mario will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years, Ida; daughters, Maria and Linda (Darcy); beloved grandchildren, Alessandria and Davyn; brother, Fiorenzo; and sisters, Antonia, Ermelinda and Carmela; and numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Rosario and Tommasina; and sister, Anna. Mario was a proud, hard working and courageous man despite many health challenges. A loving and kind man to all, especially a loving Nonno to his grandchildren, Alessandria and Davyn. Mario had a passion for the outdoors, he especially loved gardening. He will be dearly missed and forever be in our hearts.
The family would like to thank all those that reached out during this difficult time. Thank you to the Satellite Hemodialysis Unit and to the staff at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for their care and compassion.
A Private Service will be held at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church.
In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Northern Alberta & the Territories Branch, #202, 11227 Jasper Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB T5K 0L5.
