Paul Andre  Loranger
On July 30, 2020, Paul Andre Loranger passed away at the age of 72 years.
Paul was born on October 8, 1947 in Kingston, ON. He spent his youth and early adulthood in Montreal, Trois-Rivieres, QC and upstate New York. Paul, wife Claudia, and their three children moved from Montreal to Manitoba in 1982 and settled in Edmonton in 1984.
Paul had a passion for global education, lifelong learning and politics. He spent much of his career working in the education sector.
Diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia in 2018, Paul suddenly succumbed to non-COVID pneumonia on July 30, 2020.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Claudia Wiens-Loranger; children, Kyle (Leanne), Kim, Kris (Kerri); grandchildren, Andraya, William, Owen, Adam; and brothers and sisters,Peter (Deborah), Michael (Linda), Marianne,Tom (Bonnie) and their families.
Predeceased by his parents, Irene and Hap; and baby grandson, Aiden.
A special thank you to the emergency staff at the Sturgeon Community Hospital.
