Obituary for Helen Schesnuk

Helen Schesnuk
It is with the utmost sadness we announce the passing of our mother, Helen Schesnuk. Mom passed away peacefully on October 4, 2017, at the age of 87 years, surrounded by her loving family. She was a devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend. Mom loved cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family.
Helen will be greatly missed and remembered by all who knew her. She is survived by her five children, Gary (Estrella), Dan (Joanne), Diane (Dan), Larry (Tania), and Daryl (Cheryl); as well as fourteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and two sisters, Mildred Hood and Annette Jackson. She is predeceased by her husband and soulmate of 45 years, Peter.
A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Erasmus and all of the staff at Redwater Health Centre Hospital for their loving care.
Divine Liturgy Tuesday, October 10th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Sts. Borys and Hlib Ukrainian Catholic Church, 5144-50 Street, Redwater, AB. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Redwater Health Centre Auxiliary, Box 27, Redwater, AB T0A 2W0.
