Vic was born May 24, 1938 in Barrhead, Alberta and passed away August 24, 2017 in the Whitecourt Hospital at the age of 79.
He was one of five children born to Robert and Isabelle Anderson and was predeceased by his father, mother, three brothers, one sister, and son, Tim.
Vic came to Whitecourt in 1961 as an employee of Flint Rig. He went on to operate his own steamer business, backhoe and excavating business and lastly, the local garbage company – Northwest Sanitation and Rainbow Waste, which served Hinton, Edson, Drayton Valley, Fox Creek, Swan Hills, Mayerthorpe and Whitecourt.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Betty; sons, Rusty (Debi), Terry (Leslie) Nedeljak, Ken Nedeljak; daughters, Sherry Lambert and Tammy (Leo Aubin); as well as 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A private service will be held with inurnment at a later date.
The family wishes to sincerely thank the health care professionals and staff of the Whitecourt Hospital who took such great care of our husband, father and grandfather in his last days.
In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, NWT and Nunavut, Suite 144, 5241 Calgary Trail NW, Edmonton, AB T6H 5G8, or to a charity of one’s choice.
