Manager
Park Memorial is a family owned and operated, full-service funeral home in Edmonton with four additional rural Alberta locations, serving over 1000 families per year. We are proud to be the recipient of the Consumer Choice Award for Business Excellence in the category of funeral homes in both 2010 & 2011. This year, we celebrate 70 years of experience serving families of all faiths and backgrounds. We are looking for a growth-oriented person, who is seeking advancement, to enhance our team and bring fresh ideas.

As part of the management team, working directly with the Vice President, you will encourage your team to grow and succeed. You consistently demonstrate a high level of customer service and ethics. You are a forward thinker who is committed to serving families with compassion and sincerity, while working to ensure the future growth and profitability of the company. You can multi-task, you have strong time management and organization skills and you thrive in a fast-paced environment.  In coordination with the management team, your job responsibilities and duties will include such things as service scheduling, monthly staff rotation schedule, human resources (hiring, orientation, training), customer service, merchandise & inventory (ordering, pricing, product knowledge), general business planning and future forecasting.

This position is well compensated and offers yearly salary increases, bonuses, a deferred profit sharing program, health benefits, a flexible health spending account and additional flexibilities that come from working within a family business. Management experience is considered an asset, but those with significant experience in the profession, and a positive and dynamic forward outlook will also be considered.
